About Zenloc
Founded in 2008, Zenloc Security Systems Limited is dedicated to the design, production and distribution of high security monitoring and alarm systems, primarily for freight transport and containerised goods shipment.
The Company’s first two years were spent developing and robustly productising its innovative proprietary technology and establishing a bridgehead to key markets in the UK, mainland Europe and the USA. These key goals have been achieved and the company is now seeking appropriate funding to drive commercial growth for its security solutions for the freight industry world-wide.
MARKET FOCUS
The company’s main focus is the sale of its acclaimed Zenloc Portable Alarm solution, a handy stand-alone system for the protection of drivers, vehicles and freight. Unique in the functionality it offers, protected by patent applications in Europe and the USA and already endorsed by customers and highly respected bodies in the transport sector both in the UK and overseas, this Zenloc security solution is set to take the market by storm.
There are currently no competitive products on offer to customers, other than old-fashioned locks and padlocks. These offer none of the advantages delivered by Zenloc solutions, making this an extremely attractive market for our company; one in which to establish early dominance and grow a strong global brand.
RIGHT PRODUCT AT THE RIGHT TIME
The Zenloc Portable Alarm solution is endorsed in the UK by the Freight Transport Association and the Road Haulage Association and has also been tested and approved by Kuehne + Nagel for immediate use in continental Europe and also as suitable for Kuehne + Nagel associates world-wide. Already in use with over a hundred satisfied truck-driver customers, Zenloc solutions are set to gain an increasing share of the global market in 2011 and 2012, through further UK expansion and via channel partnerships in the USA and the Far East.

Chairman
David McIntosh is an experienced businessman with over 40 years’ successful experience in management, organisational development and business leadership. He is also a shareholder and non-executive director of computer vision specialists OmniPerception Limited, where from 2003 to 2009 he was that company’s founding CEO, taking OmniPerception from start-up to commercial traction. From 1996 – 2003 David was with the Snell & Wilcox Group, as C.E.O. of modular broadcast electronics subsidiary Electrocraft Ltd, which he led from an annual turnover of under £1m to over £16m during his four years in charge. Director and Chief Executive Officer
Barry Schofield is a seasoned professional with over 30 years successful experience in security and defense, first in the Royal Navy and subsequently in the Police and then the Road Haulage Industry, as well as in private security and investigation. Barry is also currently the board appointed security consultant for the UK’s largest independently owned haulier ‘Allport Limited’. In a career never far from technology and technical innovation, Barry has made a number of contributions to solving previously intractable problems with novel technical solutions, culminating in his invention of the Zenloc Portable Security Alarm. Dr Daniel Walsh has over 30 years experience in marketing, sales and business development in high tech businesses and has specialized in security solutions for the last ten years. An active member of the UK Security Innovation and Technology Consortium, Daniel is security cleared to NATO & UK Government SC Levels, uncaveated, at Total Trust Solutions Limited. A former Director of the International Association for Biometrics and Chairman of the Human Identity Management and Biometrics Consultation Group he is also a member of ISSA UK and a Digital Notary at Thawte World of Trust - A VeriSign Company. Daniel’s previous experience includes the roles of Business Development Manager at HazmatLINK Ltd, Regional Director of Sales - EMEA at MXI Security, Director of Business Development at OmniPerception Limited, Principal Consultant for Hitachi Europe and Business Development Manager - Europe for Utimaco Safeware Limited.
